Take off is perfect and it is declared as school takeoff for all level. The instructor of practice see student all time in the training.
Takeoff can be a problem if on the ridge you are not in the middle of glider and with a smaller speed.
Big fields is property for groundhanding and walk uphill with glider and with a little bit bigger wind :)
